Yoga Retreat Thailand was established in Thailand in 2018.

How did it start?

Yoga Retreat Thailand was established in 2018  in Koh Kood Thailand. Chanisa discovered her favorite place where she felt so calm and relaxed and truly felt at home. The idea is to come to the island and recharge take a small break away from her daily routine and hectic lifestyle.

​Yoga Retreat Thailand is a safe place where you can really drop your shoulders and tug your feet on the soft white sand and dip in the crystal clear seawater. Let the ocean be your guide when you are there to wash away your stress and worries. 

​Everyone deserves a break.

When you realise you are exhausted maybe then it is too late to heal. Everyone needs a break to gain energy and empowerment in between. We believe “Yoga Retreat Thailand” is a place for you. We do not need you to do much we need you to just enjoy nature and be the surroundings.

We believe nature is the medicine when you can breathe clean air, green leaves scenery, Blue sky, and white sand. Treat yourself to a good book on the beach sunbath and swimming whenever you like.

Yoga & Pilates

At Yoga Retreat Thailand, You will have full access to practice Yoga and Pilates 2 times a day both morning and evening.  Imagine you wake up every morning to morning swim and grab your mat after the swim to your morning meditation practice or Yoga Flow.  Also, you can commit to the evening yoga or pilates practice before sunset. Can you picture yourself doing it daily for a 10-day retreat?

Meet Chanisa

Chanisa Is a founder of Yoga Retreat Thailand. She was born and raised in Thailand but has moved and lived in the UK and Norway for the last 18 years. She started practicing yoga in 2013. She has completed her 200-hour Teacher Training in Thailand with All Yoga. She has been interested in teaching Yoga since when she started practicing yoga. Her inner voice has been calling ever since she participated in group classes.

After she graduated from All Yoga School in Thailand she started her teaching journey in Norway at Emijoly Yoga & Pilates. She has been teaching over 6600 classes at Emijoly her Yoga passion and experiences have grown to be an important part of her life.

Thailand is her home, Chanisa comes from Chanthaburi a small charming town in the east part of Thailand. We stopped there for a small city tour before we departed, Chanthaburi and Koh Kood always hold a special place in her heart. Chanisa is a very good host and she is happy to give you a local tour.

Chanisa is a certified Yoga Teacher in Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, her teaching is very unique with a strong foundation of YIN & YANG the connection of balance in our life. “The body will listen to the mind” You will deepen your physical and spiritual practice with Chanisa.

Meet Hilde

Hilde is a certified Pilates from Pilates Pilotene, bodyArt, Yin Yoga Teacher, and Personal Trainer. Hilde is from Norway. Her passion started with CrossFit and spread to Pilates. She believes Pilates can strengthen the core and Pilates can also strengthen the mind.

“Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind and spirit” -Joseph Pilates

Hilde teaches Pilates and bodyArt at Emijoly Yoga and Pilates. Hilde is a part of the Yoga Retreat Thailand team.

She has been traveling with us since 2018 she wishes to spread the love of Pilates and bodyArt and hopes to inspire your personal growth to see the benefits of the combinations of Pilates and Yoga.

Hilde is also a fantastic bodyART teacher but what is bodyART?

bodyArt is a fusion of Yoga, Tai Chi, Dance, and Therapeutic Fitness exercises. On the physical level, it improves strength, endurance, and flexibility and can increase coordination. In the mental aspect, it supports concentration, reduces stress, and also increases the level of life energy to meet the balance of YIN & YANG.

Hilde is the group leader who can help you or answer your questions during your stay in Thailand. She can help you to find the right practice and she is happy to support you to deepen your practice.
